From My Carolyn and Skip
Dear Family and Friends, I wanted to once again express our heartfelt "thank you" to all of our family and friends! The thoughts, prayers, food, flowers, cards and emotional support have kept us on a positive road, we can't thank you enough! We love all of you, it looks like we will be home soon and we look forward to many visits at Casa De los Abuelos. Love, Carolyn and Skip

My visit with the Main Man, last week, was absolutely wonderful! As tough as he is, he's doing great.

I drove down to Santa Cruz on Monday- the 18th - and had a good visit with Skip, He had just come back from lunch and had to brush his teeth. Talked for about 20-25 minutes and caught him up on a number of things to do with the old '51 football team and its members. Skip had no trouble communicating with me. He said that his golf handicap is now a 35 and he is ready to hit the links soon.
I thnk that his spirits are way up and he is well on the road to recovery- although it will take a lot of hard work on Skip's part and the crew at the Rehab place. All of the people I saw there really seemed nice and helpful and ready to do the job. If there are good people working, those are important first and intermediate steps.
